Featherdale Excursion & Alexia’s Photos

We braved the heat today and got some fantastic shots of the Australian animals at Featherdale. Please note, these students are attending their first photography excursion and are in Years 3-5. Can’t wait to see how well their photography talents develop over the years.

More pics to come later in the week.

Here’s Alexia’s photos. (click the photos to enlarge them)

Leura Cascades

We had a great afternoon at Leura Cascades on Friday. 7 students – ranging from years 4, 5 & 9 – spend some time exploring the manual settings on their DSLRs. The focus of the afternoon was to use slow shutter speeds to create soft, flowing water. Here are some of the photos from these very talented young students.

Nothing like a team debrief at the end of a fabulous excursion.

Stage 3 Treasure Hunt

Here’s a couple of pics from our treasure hunt this week. More to come next week.

Next week we are going to review the photos that were taken. Some feedback will be given in regards to some of the photographs and the students will have an opportunity to offer their own feedback. Then we will retake some of the photos. Can’t wait to see the improvement.
